Never underestimate the importance of the heft of your trophy!

When the time comes to create a custom trophy and recognition award, one must take the time to consider many important features such as: colors, materials and heft. The weight of an award is a feature often neglected which is a shame because it has a major influence on the perceived value of said award. A lightweight trophy, regardless of the decorations and materials will always look a bit cheaper than a heavier trophy. On the other hand, if too hefty, the trophy becomes impractical and hard to move around.  The sweet spot is somewhere between 2 to 15 lbs; you will have that coveted prestigious feel to your award and you keep it easy to lift and carry during your event.
